Madison Beach Hotel Welcomes Chef Michel Nischan

On Saturday, October 22, 2022, Madison Beach Hotel will host an  exclusive five course event featuring dinner, wine pairings, and  storytelling with four-time James Beard Award winner Chef Michel  Nischan. Chef Nischan has been dubbed the “Godfather” of advocacy in the  culinary world, maintaining the longest-standing record fighting for a  more sustainable, resilient, and equitable food system through policy  change. He is co-founder of the James Beard Foundation Chef Boot Camp  for Policy and Change, and the only chef in America to change the  Federal Farm Bill, twice, through his non-profit organization Wholesome  Wave. Wholesome Wave was founded in 2007, the same year both of Chef  Nischan’s restaurants were listed on Condé Nast’s Top 95 Restaurants in  the World (Pure in Mumbai, India, and The Dressing Room Restaurant in  Westport, Conn.). For this exclusive epicurean event, Chef Nischan will  "reawaken" his restaurant The Dressing Room and partner with Madison  Beach Hotel's culinary team to present dinner and stories. The Dressing  Room, Fairfield County’s first farm-to-table restaurant, was founded by  Chef Nischan and the late actor Paul Newman in 2006. The evening begins  at 7 p.m. with a welcome reception followed by a three course dinner  overlooking the Long Island Sound and concludes with an exquisite  dessert. Reception and dinner menu to be announced.
