2024: Connecticut reports $6.2 billion in general sales and gross receipts taxes revenue

Of the $23.2 billion in taxes collected by Connecticut in 2024, 26.8%, or $6.2 billion, came from general sales and gross receipts taxes, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Annual Survey of State Government Tax Collections (STC).
