EDA awards over $2 million in grants for economic development projects in Connecticut in 2023

In 2023, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) issued five grants totaling $2,477,338 to fund economic development projects in Connecticut.

This represents a 93.3% decrease from 2022, when the state received $36,904,521 in funding.

Connecticut ranked 39th across the U.S. in total EDA grant funding for 2023. South Carolina topped the list with $30,038,466 in funding across 14 grants.

The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven received the largest EDA grant for funding an economic development project in the state, totalling $1,999,415.
