Goshen Connecticut issued the following announcement on March 20.

How to Access Zoom Goshen Town Board and Commission Meetings as the Public

(Click HERE for a list of Zoom Meetings with their meeting ID numbers and links

Each meeting will have a unique meeting ID number that will be used to access the correct meeting. Please go to: www.goshenct.gov and find the correct Board’s or Commission’s meeting that you would like to join. www.zoom.us for the Zoom website.

To access by phone: (easiest access) (you will not be able to see any video)
- Find correct agenda under www.goshenct.gov
  - You can also access any documents that will be discussed under the correct agenda
- A unique phone number will be available to dial in
- When prompted, put in unique meeting ID number and then press #
- Press # when asked for a participant ID number
- You are now able to listen into the meeting (if the host of the meeting has started)
- All comments and questions will be heard during public comment.
- Press *9 to raise your hand and be recognized by the host
To access by computer: (you can also dial in with phone number, unique meeting ID number and participant #)
- Find correct agenda under www.goshenct.gov
  - You can also access any documents that will be discussed under the correct agenda
- A link will be available to access.
  - Click “Join from the Browser”
    - Otherwise, you can download and run the Zoom driver.
    - Click the file and download the launcher and wait for the meeting to start.
      - Once the host of the meeting starts the meeting, you will be able to join.
- You can either join by video or by “Audio Conference by Computer” if you have microphone/speaker capability or by using the “Phone Call” option and inputting the Zoom phone number, unique meeting ID # and participant ID #
- You are now joined in the meeting. All participants that join are muted when entering the meeting. Please wait until public comment is asked for. You will not be able to be heard if you do not have microphone capability with your computer, but you will be able to use the chat feature once public comment is allowed.
To access by app on smartphone:
- Download the Zoom Cloud Meetings app from your smartphone app store.
  - You do not have to create an account.
- You can join in a meeting by using the unique meeting ID number found online at www.goshenct.gov for the correct Board or Commission meeting you would like to virtually attend.
- You can turn off your video if you just want to listen in.
- All participants that join are muted when entering the meeting. Please wait until public comment is asked for. You can also use the chat feature once public comment is allowed.
