The Yale football team announced its 2026 schedule on Apr. 27, featuring five home games at the Yale Bowl, Class of 1954 Field.

The new schedule outlines key matchups for Team 153, including the season opener on Sept. 19 at Holy Cross. The Bulldogs have begun each season against Holy Cross since 2018. Their Ivy League opener will take place on Sept. 26 at Cornell, a team that finished fifth in the conference standings last season.

Yale will return to its home field on Oct. 3 to face Merrimack in a non-conference game, marking the first meeting between the two programs. The homestand continues with Dartmouth on Oct. 10—Dartmouth finished third in the Ivy League last year—and concludes with Rhode Island on Oct. 17.

After this stretch of home games, Yale will travel to Penn on Oct. 24 and Columbia on Oct. 31 for two more Ivy League contests.

The Bulldogs’ final home games are set for Nov. 7 against Brown and Nov. 14 against Princeton; Senior Day will be held during the Princeton matchup.

Yale’s regular season will end with a game against Harvard at Fenway Park on Nov. 21. Last year’s edition of “The Game” was historic as Yale secured both an Ivy League title and the conference’s first-ever Football Championship Subdivision playoff bid after defeating Harvard.
