The Quinnipiac women’s golf team remains in first place after the second round of the 2026 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championships in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, as announced on April 22. The Bobcats posted a team score of 286 (two under par) for the day, bringing their two-round total to 585 (nine over par), and will enter the final round eight strokes ahead of Fairfield.

This position is significant for Quinnipiac as they aim to secure a championship title at Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course. Their performance included setting a new MAAC Championship record for the best single round by a women’s team with their second-round score.

Sophia Fujita leads all competitors with a two-round total of 142 (two under par), highlighted by her three-under-par performance in the second round. Samantha Galantini also shot a three-under-par 69 and is tied for second place overall with a total score of 143 (one under par). Natalie Spiska delivered an even-par round and currently sits in fifth place at four over par.

Vaidehi Shah and Marisa Flores complete Quinnipiac’s lineup, both tied for fifteenth place heading into the final day. Shah recorded a four-over-par 76 while Flores carded a five-over-par 77; both have totals of nine over par after two rounds.

The Bobcats will compete in the final round on April 23 at Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course. More information about individual and team results can be found through official channels.
