The Quinnipiac Bobcats concluded their baseball season on May 16, dropping both games of a doubleheader against the Merrimack Warriors, with final scores of 12-6 and 14-4. The team finished the regular season with an overall record of 23-28 and a conference record of 14-16.

The series took place in Lawrence, Massachusetts. In game one, Quinnipiac took an early lead as Christian Smith’s sacrifice fly brought home Caden Williamson. However, Merrimack responded quickly and built momentum through the middle innings. Ian Nilsen hit his second home run of the season for Quinnipiac in the third inning, but Merrimack countered by scoring four runs in their half of that frame to take control. Despite efforts from Alex Irizarry and Jack Balcer to narrow the gap in later innings, Merrimack maintained its advantage and secured a 12-6 win.

In game two, Alex Irizarry put Quinnipiac ahead early with a three-run home run. Luke Zeisloft added another homer for the Bobcats in the fourth inning—his first as a member of the team—but after that point, Merrimack dominated offensively by scoring eleven unanswered runs over three innings to close out a seven-inning victory at 14-4.

Several Bobcats had notable performances during the doubleheader: Cole Constable went four-for-six at bat; Irizarry collected four RBIs across both games; Smith ended his senior year with a .307 batting average; Zeisloft recorded his first home run as a Bobcat; and Nilsen hit his second homer this season. On pitching duty throughout both games were Nick Balcom (who started game one), James Pazdera (making his final appearance), J.c Franconere (with appearances in twenty-three contests this year), Josh Lajoie, Ethan Freed, Mason Ulsh (starter for game two), Jacob Belecky (in his first year), and Matt Alduino.

With these results marking their last regular-season action, Quinnipiac closes out another campaign on the diamond.
