A North Stonington woman has been sentenced to six years in federal prison for trafficking crystal methamphetamine. Jill Mulligan, 45, received her sentence from U.S. District Judge Stefan R. Underhill in Bridgeport, Connecticut. In addition to the 72-month imprisonment, Mulligan will also serve three years of supervised release.
The case was announced by David X. Sullivan, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut. Court documents and statements reveal that the FBI’s Northern Connecticut Gang Task Force conducted three controlled purchases of crystal meth from Mulligan in April and May 2023. Her arrest took place on May 4, 2023.
During her arrest, searches were conducted at Mulligan’s residence and vehicle in North Stonington. Authorities discovered approximately 390 grams of crystal meth along with quantities of crack cocaine, LSD, and prescription pills.
Mulligan pleaded guilty on November 1, 2023, to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. She has been detained since March 12, 2025, following the revocation of her bond.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Reed Durham prosecuted the case.
