Junior Kaiden Dossa of the Yale baseball team was named Ivy League Co-Player of the Week, according to an April 27 announcement by the conference. Dossa shares this honor with Cole Fellows from Columbia.
Dossa earned his first Ivy League weekly award after a strong performance at bat for the Bulldogs. Over four games, he achieved nine hits in twenty at-bats, including three home runs and nine runs batted in. On Sunday against Columbia, Dossa recorded his first game with two home runs. He ended the week with eight runs scored and five stolen bases.
Dossa’s season statistics place him among the top five players in several categories within the Ivy League. These include batting average (.331), on-base plus slugging percentage (.995), runs (46), hits (48), doubles (11), RBIs (37), walks (28), and stolen bases (22).
The Bulldogs are scheduled to return to action at home on Wednesday, May 6 against Iona after a week off.
