(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Ned Lamont announced that he is directing U.S. and state flags in Connecticut to return to full-staff at sunset on the evening of Monday, July 10, 2023.

Flags have been flying at half-staff for the last several days in remembrance of former Governor Lowell P. Weicker, Jr. A funeral service in his honor is scheduled to be held on Monday morning at Saint Barnabas Church in Greenwich, followed by an interment at Putnam Cemetery.
