The Yale men’s golf team completed its run at the Ivy League Championships at Baltusrol Golf Club, according to an April 26 announcement.
Harvard won both the team title and individual co-medalist honors. The Crimson finished with a three-day total score of 874, which was one stroke ahead of Princeton’s 875. Harvard’s Barry Zhang and Princeton’s Reed Greyserman shared co-medalist honors, each posting a score of four-under-par 212.
Seniors Will Lodge and Sam Davis from Yale improved on their performances from last year’s championship. Lodge, who placed eighteenth in the previous year, tied for ninth place this time with a total score of eight-over-par 224 in his final Ivy League Championship appearance. Davis also ended his collegiate career by tying for ninth place after finishing thirtieth last year, matching Lodge with a score of eight-over-par 224.
Other Yale results included Colin Li tying for fourteenth place with a total score of 226, Preston Howe tying for twenty-seventh at 236, and Matthew Lin finishing thirtieth with a total of 239.
The tournament highlighted strong showings by senior players as they concluded their collegiate careers.
