Two Connecticut residents experienced significant lottery wins, totaling over $865,000 in prizes. A Danbury player won a $766,674 jackpot with a $30 ticket from the Fast Play $30 High Roller Progressive game. The winning ticket was bought on February 21 at Village Mini Market in Danbury. As a result of this sale, the store will receive a retailer bonus of $7,666.

On the same day, another player from New Haven secured a $100,000 prize with a Cash5 draw game ticket purchased at Citgo on Whitney Avenue in Hamden. Whitney Ave LLC will receive a $1,000 retailer bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The Connecticut Lottery Corporation (CLC) encourages players to verify their tickets using the CT Lottery app. The CLC is dedicated to generating revenue for Connecticut while maintaining high standards of public policy and social responsibility. In fiscal year 2024 alone, lottery players won more than $1.1 billion in prizes.

The CLC has contributed over $11 billion to Connecticut’s General Fund since its inception in 1972. These funds support various state services such as public health and education.

Lottery purchasers must be at least 18 years old, and sports wagers require participants to be at least 21 years old. Assistance for problem gambling is available by calling 888-789-7777 or visiting ccpg.org.
