A Connecticut Lottery player has recently won a significant jackpot of $408,853 in the $10 Stacks of Ca$h Progressive Fast Play game. The winning ticket was purchased at Sam’s Food Store located on New Britain Avenue in Hartford. As a result of selling the winning ticket, the store will receive a retailer bonus amounting to $4,089. The odds for winning in this particular game are 1 in 3.29.

This recent win marks the second Fast Play Progressive jackpot within two weeks, contributing to over $1.1 million in jackpots during that period. Previously, on February 21, another player from Danbury secured a $766,674 jackpot with a Fast Play $30 High Roller Progressive ticket, which has odds of 1 in 3.07.

The Connecticut Lottery Corporation encourages players to check their tickets carefully as they could potentially be the next big winners. Players can use the CT Lottery app to scan their tickets conveniently.

The Connecticut Lottery Corporation (CLC) operates as a quasi-public state agency with an aim to generate revenue for Connecticut while adhering to high standards of public policy and social responsibility. In fiscal year 2024, lottery players won over $1.1 billion in prizes and retailers earned more than $85 million in commissions. Additionally, CLC contributed $387 million to support various state-funded services such as public health and education.

The CLC reminds the public that lottery purchasers must be at least 18 years old and those placing sports wagers must be at least 21 years old. Assistance is available for problem gambling through calling 888-789-7777 or visiting ccpg.org.
