The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced on Mar. 9 that it will hold a virtual public information meeting about customer service upgrades at 28 Metro-North Railroad stations along the New Haven, New Canaan Branch, and Danbury Branch Lines on Tuesday, March 24 at 6:00 p.m.
The meeting aims to give the public and local community a chance to comment or ask questions about the proposed project. The session will be held via Zoom and requires registration. A question and answer period will follow the presentation, which will be recorded for later viewing. “The installation of updated audio equipment, informational displays, and signage will improve rail users’ experiences by increasing accessibility and customer service,” said Connecticut Department of Transportation Project Manager Nazana Weeks. “We encourage the public to attend this meeting to share their feedback with the CTDOT project team to incorporate into the design.”
