The Connecticut Bar Association Young Lawyers Section hosted a Speed Networking Event at Kinsmen Brewing in Milldale on April 1, bringing together young attorneys and law students from Quinnipiac University School of Law, University of Connecticut School of Law, and Western New England School of Law.

The event aimed to foster professional connections between practicing attorneys and law students. This effort is part of the association’s broader mission to support professional development and help ease the transition from law school to legal practice.

The structured format allowed attendees to participate in brief, focused conversations intended to create meaningful relationships. “This speed networking event reflects what the Young Lawyers Section is all about, creating meaningful opportunities for connection, mentorship, and growth,” said YLS Law School Outreach Director Kyle A. Bechet. “By bringing together law students and practicing attorneys in a welcoming, structured environment, we’re helping to build relationships that can shape careers and strengthen the future of our profession.”
