The Connecticut Bar Association announced on April 15 that it has extended the deadline for completed petitions to serve in its House of Delegates for the 2026-2029 term. The new deadline is Thursday, April 30 at 5:00 PM.
The extension allows more members to volunteer for leadership roles and help guide the association’s direction over the next three years. Open seats are available in districts 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 17. Members whose terms are expiring must also submit a new nomination to continue serving.
An online nomination process has been set up to make it easier for members to apply or nominate colleagues from their district. Instructions and petition forms are available through links provided by the association.
