The Connecticut Department of Agriculture (CT DoAg) has issued a reminder to holders of certain licenses and permits that they need to renew by June 30, 2025. The department’s Licensing Unit highlighted several categories that require renewal, including Milk Producer, Retail Raw Milk Producer, Raw Milk Cheese Manufacturer, Cheese Manufacturer, Commercial Fertilizer Manufacturers, Livestock Dealer, Live Poultry Dealer, Milk Laboratory, Milk Dealers (processors), and Retail Dairy Stores.

Licensees and permittees should have received two renewal notices already. Those who have not yet received a notice are advised to email AgLicensing@ct.gov with their license or permit number and business name to request one. For more detailed information about specific agricultural license requirements, individuals can visit the CT DoAg website for licenses and permits.
