Blumenthal Releases Preliminary Information on the Agreement Between PGA Tour & Saudi Arabian Investment Fund

[WASHINGTON, D.C.] – On July 11, U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (PSI) Chairman Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) released a memorandum with preliminary information obtained in PSI’s inquiry into the proposed merger between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf, which is owned by the Saudi Arabian government’s Public Investment Fund.

Blumenthal entered the memorandum and the documents attached in its appendix into the record during today’s hearing on “The PGA-LIV Deal: Implications for the Future of Golf and Saudi Arabia’s Influence in the United States.”
